The 9th annual Fairest of the Fair Pageant, Jr Fairest of the Fair Pageant, and Young Miss Pageants will be held on Tuesday
Aug 5th . Pageants will begin at 1 pm and be held on the main stage located on the fairgrounds. A $1000 college scholarship
will be awarded to the 2017 Fairest of the Fair. A $500 scholarship awarded to Jr Miss and a $100 scholarship to Young Miss.

The Rhea County Fair Lady Pageant will be held on Thursday August 11th, at the fairground. Pageant will begin at 6pm
on the main stage.

begins at 9 am, Trophies for top 25. Music, games, door prizes, and concessions will be available.
The Lanny Mauldin Chili Cookoff will be held on Saturday Aug 13th, at 9 am. Pre-Registration is required. Judging will be at noon,

There will be Concessions throughout the fair. The 4H and Fair Concessions will include the traditional hamburgers and hotdogs. Other
fair foods and items will be available from independent vendor booths. If you are interested in becoming a vendor,
The 4H Air Rifle Shooting Gallery will be in operation during the fair. All patrons are invited to participate. Shooters 12 and under
must be accompanied by an adult.
